Uncle Francis Fusion Food (Uncle FFF?)

This photo is taken by my three years old toddler because he got bored of waiting and wanted to play around with my camera. In the picture, the guy with the red shirt is Uncle Francis. He operates this Western food stall with his family. It is through word of mouth that we got to know Uncle Francis.

Uncle Francis cooks delicious cheesy stuffs like this cheesy spaghetti and the below cheesy sausages.

Urggh…so much cheese….and bacons. But kids love it.

Take some joy juice aka Kickapoo and 7-Up to flush the cheesy taste down.

This is the Moroccan fish which is super spicy. It is a piece of fish covered with cheese (again?) and baked with mango, pineapple, tomato and lots of herbs. The accompaniments are great potato salad, coleslaw with tangy pineapples and two pieces of yummylicious garlic bread.

We had tried the lamb shank (RM17 only compared to Mr Ho which was RM35) and pork cordon bleu with apple sauce. Uncle Francis has lots of interesting items on his menu but unfortunately, I never got a chance to try them out yet. It is always, cheese, cheese and more cheese for my kids. 🙁

If you don’t mind waiting for a loooong time for the food to be ready, check out Uncle Francis. He takes his own time to prepare the food from scratch.

It is located at the junction of Cantonement Road (where Bandar Baru supermarket ends, near the traffic light) and Jalan Pulau Tikus. Corner coffeeshop. Available only for dinner and open only when Uncle Francis feels like cooking!

We had been there twice and I got the feeling Uncle Francis must be a favourite uncle from the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church nearby because everyone knows everyone. Both times we were there, we saw the same patrons! Weird!
