This used to be Mr. Ho’s Fine Foods. Then, one of the partner left and opened Scarlet which has closed down. After that, I didn’t realise Hardwicke House is still operating. My kids and I love to hang out at Mr. Ho’s Fine Foods for lunch because they love the pasta while I like the meats.
Just yesterday, Sunday, my hubby and I intended to go to CG Computer to have a look at the iMac and found Hardwicke offering set lunch. The lunches are cheap as well! So, go and give it a try.
The ambience in Hardwicke far surpassed Audee. It doesn’t give you the cold, pretentious feel but rather, the homely cosy feel and yet, still classy.
Anyone who serves me dessert decorated like this definitely earns my praise.
It is part of the set lunch that costs between RM18.80 to RM28.80, can you believe it?
My hubby had the pompano fish with mango salsa and polenta. His Italian colleague’s wife had cooked polenta for us before so it is nice to discover Hardwicke serving polenta. It is only RM23.80 which includes one soup, the main dish, dessert and a cup of hot chocolate. Where else can you get such a good deal?
Go Hardwicke. Dinner is RM100-RM188 per head but those are full courses dinner with sorbet, two glasses of wine and lots of fancy stuffs. We will be back for dinner one of these days. When we have something to celebrate, i.e. LOL, every day is a celebration, no?

I have more photos of my meal on my 5xmom blog. Hardwicke House will be our regular lunch place. I just hope they stay in business and maintain this standard. Good food, nice ambience, excellent service.
